I am . . .

A Mormon!

I am a dancer and gymnast.  I have 4 sisters.  My parents are cool.  I try every day to be like Christ.  I am left-handed.  I am a Mormon.

In my craziest dreams I never imagined I'd be a father of 5 daughters.  But I love it!  The gospel of Christ brings me great comfort and guidance.  I'm a Mormon.

I'm a 12 year old ballerina.  I am a potato lover from Idaho.  I am going to BYU after high school.  I'm a Mormon.

I am 9 years old.  I have 4 sisters, 0 brothers, a awesome Dad and Mom.  I love going fishing, gymnastics, sports and I am a Mormon.

I clean.  I cook.  I nurture.  I drive.  I read.  I calendar.  I photograph.  And I am a stereotypical Mormon Mom.

What should we play?

A clue!  A clue!
Money!

It's another hand print!
A purse!

What would Blue want to play with money and a purse?
We'd better find the next clue!

A cash register!

We have all three clues.  Now let's go to our thinking chair.

We just figured out Blue Clues!  We just figured out Blue Clues!  We just figured out Blues Clues!  Cause we're really smart.

Do you know what Kit and Charity want to play?

Sick . . . But Oh So Cute!

3 Down, 2 to go.  (Well, the other 2 already had their turn, so hopefully that's it!) But wow, what a quiet afternoon scattered across the house--whatever works!

Budding Artist?

Charity spends a lot of time with a paper and pencil and scissors but usually she's writing abc's or words.  She's been sounding out words this week and writing them all over every paper she can find.  It's true that summer should really be spelled S-U-M-R!

But then she brought me a picture she drew.  I love it!
She was watching Curious George and they showed her how to do it, so she did it.  When you do a quick glance it looks like a perfect sketch.  Maybe she got some of those artistic genes that I tried so hard to unearth but never quite could!

Spring Break 10

Fashion Show to show off all their new clothes (and not so new clothes)
(I forgot how much I dislike the lighting on our stage--yucky shadows!)

Sarah turns everything into ballet!  (Even basketball foul shots!)
 Allie loves accessories!
Kit's good at flaunting it.  (Is flaunting bad?)
Those cheeks are just so kissable!
 Spring Break tired Charity out!

Luckily, the "break" is over.  Time to get back to real life!

Spring Break Day 9

Bright and early they got Ben up to finish putting up the net.  And then every minute for the rest of the day (when they weren't watching conference), they bounced, tumbled, flipped, flopped, twirled, whirled, and bounded.  Amazing how in just a few hours they had front flips, whips, aerials, bounders, tucks, and twisty-turny-thingies.  So, I think they LOVE it just a bit!

Spring Break Day 8

Kathryn's school essay
"If I had the dollar bill like in the story I would not spend it yet.  I would save it up for a trampoline."

Remember our grocery list posted earlier . . . well, it continues to appear on the list:

And then Kathryn made up her 2012 Christmas list

So, on Friday I convinced my girls that we needed to get home because there was a surprise waiting for them.  We pulled in and Ben opened the garage and . . .

*audio unavailable because Sarah must have her ipod at school*

imagine:  lots of screaming when they read TRAMPOLINE on the two big boxes,
then more screaming because the excited screaming woke up a terrified Charity and Mollie

We spent a cold dark evening trying to get it put together
