Spring Break Day 3

I've been scanning my dad's mission slides . . . all 777 of them.  And then I'm headed over this week to teach my parents how to record on their new laptop so my dad can record all his mission stories.  Um, my mom may be sitting on the couch recording for a few years!  But for those who know my dad, we must get those stories recorded.  I found some classic pictures.  They just don't do missions like they used to!  =)  Or maybe it's that my dad had a mission unlike any other missionary.  Ya, that's probably it.

I finally made the mattress for the bed in the sheep camp, so I think it'll be more fun to play in it.  If we can just get rid of all the flies (Flies in March?  Really?)

Spring Break Day 1

First hot dog roast of the year

(The wind picked up just for lunch and made for a repeatedly spilled plate and therefore lots of tears, but everyone ended up with sticky fingers and lots of dirt in their food, so it was good!)

And in between and after all that we pulled out a lot of dead stuff (I was a little occupied last fall!), pulled out lots of new weeds (already?), and smoothed out the dirt by the back patio.  Yea for warm enough to do yard work!  Our goal is to have grass by the end of the summer.  It must happen!

And then we crashed and then Allie, Kit and Mom went to the play (one of the best they've done in a long time) while Sarah went with friends to Hunger Games (she hid her head a few times but had fun with friends) while Dad, Charity, and Mollie watched basketball (I doubt Charity watched much but she fell asleep which was what was really needed).

Quite a start to a much anticipated spring break!

And her sister sitting on the couch has been so funny and so much fun lately!

And yesterday there was lots of sun shining through those windows (and tomorrow there should be too!)
