First Day!

Another first day!  And a big one for the oldest!
7th grade!
Which means Jr./Sr. High School!  After being in one building for K-6, this is a big change.  But she was very excited and ready.  A little weird to see her walk in those doors where I watched from our front room window for years as the "big kids" walked in.  Yikes!  But I think she'll love it and it's time.  The funniest thing is that I thought I'd never even have a kindergartener in school here and now I have a 7th grader.  Life never goes as planned, but aren't we glad!!!

4th grade!
And very ready for a set schedule and things to do at all hours of the day and night!  And it's only one week until dance and piano starts so she can be really busy again and therefore very happy!

3rd Grade
She has one of the coolest teachers ever and her best friends are in her class and she had a new zebra striped shirt to wear today, so life is perfect.

Now what do Charity and I do?  We are a little lost this morning.  You can only play Candyland and Hi-Ho Cherry-O for so long (especially being 8 1/2 months pregnant and sitting on the floor).  And there will be no preschool this year because there weren't enough kids signed up.  Of course, we only have to find something to do for a week and then Baby Jimmer will occupy all our time!  =)  Maybe we should get ready for a baby!  Or we'll just go have a nap (since the sisters were very anxious this morning and were up and showering at 6!)!

Lightening Storm

Thursday night we had a massive lightening and thunder storm.  I love them!  However, considering that my not-so-little girl was at her first girl's camp by a lake and we were watching the lightening light up all around them, it was not as fun as when everyone is safely next to you.  The bolts were amazing though and I wanted a picture, but I didn't want to spend too much time messing with settings, so I didn't have much success, but it was entertaining.

A memorable night for all of us!
